2019 has been quite a movie year and it's not over yet!

Coming up with date ideas shouldn't be stressful. Dinner and a movie night might sound played out but with the right movie it might just add the spice to the date. You might also learn a lot about your date's taste when it comes to movie genre. We've list down awesome new movies for date night!

Here are the list of new movies to lookout for in 2019!

Fast & Furious Presents: Hobbs & Shaw (2019)

Directed by: David Leitch
Starring: Dwayne Johnson, Jason Statham

It’s been a long road with Fast & Furious since it first made its way to the screen in 2001! Yup, it has be THAT long. The movie generated a fandom over the years through cast and definitely the cars. The latest sequel focuses on Hobbs (Dwayne Johnson) and Shaw (Jason Statham) joining forces to take down the villain, played by Idris Elba. So, we have 3 extremely fit, angry men wanting to kill each other with a lot of muscles, explosions and cars. Of course, this action-packed movie is very much anticipated which would be a great choice for a movie-date.

It Chapter Two (2019)

The clown is back! And this time the kids are all grown up. The gang gets back together to handle some unfinished business. It’s not the time to be clowning around (or maybe it is?) because Pennywise the Dancing Clown has a score to settle. Seeing how horror movies are the perfect choice for a movie date, this should definitely be in your list.

Gemini Man (2019)

Will Smith is not blue and does not come out of a magical lamp in this movie BUT he undoubtedly knows how to create magic on screen. Gemini Man is a science fiction action movie that is about an aging hitman who is targeted by a younger clone of himself. You know what that means? We get TWO WILL SMITHS! BONUS POINTS! How aren’t you NOT “SMITHen” with that idea? For those who are into plots that would keep you on the edge of your seat, look out for Gemini Man!

Joker (2019)

For those of you questioning “How did Joker happen?”well, your question is answered. Joker played by Joaquin Phoenix (the mean emperor in Gladiator….Commodus), a failed comedian with a depressing life and keeps being the victim of Gotham City, finally snaps and realises he’s good at being bad. Words doesn’t do much justice to the amazing plot and acting the movie portrays. You don’t have to worry about your date not being a  DC fan to be excited for this crime thriller to hit the cinema!

Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019)

A formidable queen (Aurora’s would be mother-in-law) causes a rift between Maleficent and Princess Aurora. Together, they must face new allies and enemies in a bid to protect the magical lands which they share. AND there’s a whole group of flying warriors like just like Maleficent who comes to her aid.
